Heather Stewart

Heather Stewart is a Senior Lecturer in management with the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation, Griffith Business School, Griffith University. Australia. After more than 20 years of management experience in both corporate and small business, Heather has transitioned her passion for research and teaching into academia. The focus of Heather’s work is on qualitative management research with the underpinning of sustainable management practices and organisational development through the perspective of continual and collaborative learning. Heather has been recognised for her research interests of sustainability and ethics into online learning and teaching, Current publications are dominated by her passion for qualitative methodology specifically in terms of action research, case study and feminist ethics in the context of leadership in higher education; sustainability and small business. Publications include several book chapters, The Qualitative Report, Journal of Business Ethics Education, Systematic Practices and Action Research.

We are a community of scholars and practitioners from a range of institutions across Australia, New Zealand and Oceania. We share a passion for developing and extending the Australasian business ethics agenda. We recognise the uniqueness of the Australasian approach, experience and contribution to the field of business ethics.
